FLIR G609 High Resolution
Furnace and Boiler Inspection IR Camera
The G609 cooled IR camera uses specialized filters that enable clear imaging through furnace flames, and helps you inspect faster, work safer, and avoid shutdowns.
The FLIR G609 is designed for monitoring all types of potentially hazardous, high temperature furnaces, heaters, and boilers, particularly in the chemical, petrochemical, and utility industries. Engineered to see through flames, the G609 comes with a detachable heat shield and a customized furnace inspection lens. Together, these features enhance operator safety by reflecting heat away and providing a clearer view of assets, ensuring optimal protection and visibility during operation. This FLIR camera comes with a special mid-wave ‘flame filter’ for temperatures up to 1500ËšC. Â
Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® allow you to connect to smartphones or tablets and effortlessly edit and store images in the cloud, or wirelessly transfer files using the included FLIR Ignite™ cloud service.
Furnaces play a critical role in refining and petrochemical operations, providing the high temperatures required for essential processes. When they fail, the consequences can be severe—both in terms of safety and operational losses. A single day of unplanned downtime can result in losses exceeding $1 million.Â
